Commission is inconsistent

The Police and Fire Commission went to great lengths to stress the “consistency” that they believe they practice.  Really?  They demoted a lieutenant to firefighter, then reinstated him back to apparatus operator when “Firefighter Doe” stepped forward and confessed.  Why did they waiver from their original ruling?  Now, they do not believe “Firefighter Doe.”  In fact, Commissioner Bailey, siding with a psychologist, believes “Doe” might have concocted his entire confession.  Okay, why did the Police and Fire Commission demote him to begin with?

This Police and Fire Commission’s legacy will be the blatant disregard they have shown for any consistency throughout this entire ordeal.  In fact, the only consistency they have shown is their ability to routinely wipe egg off of their faces.  Kudos to Commissioner Garcia for passing on the eggs.
